This policy governs when and to what extent you receive a refund of your credit purchase.
1. Legal framework
Credits are digital content provided for use immediately upon purchase. By explicitly consenting to the start of provision at the time of purchase, the statutory right of withdrawal for consumers under § 356(5) BGB expires. Business customers generally have no right of withdrawal.
2. Voluntary goodwill refund
Regardless of any statutory right of withdrawal, we refund the full amount on request within 14 days of purchase, provided the purchased credits are still fully unused. Pro-rata refunds are excluded.
3. Refund for technical defects
If a defect of the service occurs that makes the use of the credits impossible (e.g. a systematic outage of an API over several days), we refund the value of the credits rendered unusable independently of the time window in §2.
4. Refund on account suspension
- Where suspension is due to a violation of the Terms or the AUP, remaining balances are not refunded.
- Where the contract is terminated ordinarily by us without fault on the part of the customer, we refund the remaining balance pro rata.
5. Processing
Refunds are returned to the original payment method, typically within 5 business days. Requests to billing@getmorecredits.com citing the Stripe receipt ID of the purchase in question.
6. Chargebacks
We ask that you contact our support before issuing a chargeback at your bank — we resolve virtually all cases within one business day. Unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension.
